En México, se celebra el Día del Niño el 30 de abril. El día siguiente, se honora al trabajador mundialmente con el Día Internacional del Trabajador. A nosotros nos pareció una buena oportunidad para hacer actividades educativas y divertidas para los niños que a la vez prepararían para los eventos del Día del Trabajo.
Vamos a combinar elementos de la celebración tradicional–juegos, comida, y arte–con actividades de conciencia política y social.

Fecha: Domingo, el 29 de abril, 2007 (el día antes del Día del Niño)

Children's Day is a holiday that is celebrated on different days throughout the world. In México, it is celebrated on April 30th. (In the United States, it isn't celebrated at all!) The next day is International Workers' Day, known in México as el Día del Trabajo (Labor Day). It seemed to us like a good opportunity to put on fun and educational activities for children that would simultaneously help us prepare for the events of May Day.
We'll be combining elements of the traditional Día de los Niños celebration–games, food, and art–with politically- and socially-conscious activities.

When: From twelve to four pm (12:00-4:00 pm)
